Online dating has managed to fill niche markets targeting stoners and now comes Tindog, a Tinder inspired app bringing furry friends and their respective owners together.

Launched last month and created by Julien Muller, Tindog, like Tinder, allows users with profiles to swipe left or right to like or pass, respectively, on say a new friend or potential love interest for your dog, or yourself.

Muller said,

“Dogs bring so much joy and love, that they really have the power to connect us. That’s why we wanted to make it easy for dog lovers to meet new people around them who feel the same way.”

According to Muller, there are already 100,000 users on the app has thousands more signing up every from places like the U.S., Australia, France, Germany, and Brazil.

Before you put all of your eggs in a basket, er doggy treats, like someone over at the Daily Dot did (“What do you mean my dog isn’t cute?!”) and have to give your dog—but mainly yourself—life affirming dating advice like “We’re too good for them, anyway” remember there’s always more dogs in the park. That’s how the saying goes, right?
