Funk-rockster Lenny Kravitz will release Black and White America on August 30 and he's recruited two of hip-hop's biggest superstars for his ninth studio effort.

The self-produced 16-track album—Mr. Kravitz' first since 2008's It Is Time for a Love Revolution—will feature collaborations from Jay-Z ("Boognie Drop") and Drake ("Sunflower"). "[It's] a very funky album, really interesting and something that I am still going to put out," says Kravitz to Billboard.com of the album.

Black and White America will be his debut on Roadrunner/Atlantic and all we can really say is we're really looking for to hearing it.
